There are no better resistance bands for sale than the Bodylastics bands. They are made from the highest grade surgical tubing and allow you to have a very smooth motion, which is great to prevent injuries. Bodylastics Bands are better than your average resistance bands because of the quality and because of their innovative design.

Resistance Bands For Sale Resistance Bands For SaleEach Band has a carabiner attached to the ends, which allows for quick attachment to the handles. This also allows you to attach more than one band to the handles. In fact, you can attach up to 7 bands to a set of handles for maximum resistance, and each band is 4 feet long, so you do not have to worry about different lengths.

When I say that Bodylastics Bands are the best they really are! They are the best quality and best for price. The Bodylastic sets start at $49.95 with a tension range up to 88 lbs. For the people who really want to pack on some muscle, then you will want to check out the MMA Training Package or the Mega Resistance package which allows up to 288 lbs. of resistance.

Each kit also includes a carrying bag, a fitness guide, and ankle straps, so you can workout your lower body too.

So if you are looking for resistance bands for sale, then you really need to get the Bodylastics Resistance Bands

Don’t Resist the Resistance Bands

Okay, it is time to pick up those rubber looking things called Resistance bands.  Stop criticizing them and stop making fun of the people using them.  Because the fact is…they work!  Yes, those resistance bands actually work.  “For what?” you may ask. Well resistance bands are great for building muscle or shedding pounds.  Resistance bands offer something called “variable resistance,” adding more resistance as they are stretched.  Free weights do not offer variable resistance.  Bands are easy to use, easy to travel with, and easy to use at home without taking up space.

resistancebandworkouts Dont Resist the Resistance BandsHere is a little information about resistance bands.  The thicker bands are higher in resistance, which will help you build more muscle ans strength.  The lighter bands allow you to do more reps, which will help you shed pounds and get toned.  I like the bands that look like surgical tubing the best, but there is also a rubber band style.

Here are 3 workouts that you can do with resistance bands:

Shoulder Press – With one foot forward and one foot back, step on the middle of the band with the foot that is forward.  Hold the handles just above your shoulders. Then push up above your head.  Return to the start position.

Bicep Curls – Stand on the band with both feet about shoulders length apart, then alternate arms performing a bicep curl  like you would with free weights.  For more resistance you can widen your stance.

Band Push-up -  First wrap the band around your back, then grasp the handles in each hand. Get into pushup position, securing the band under each hand. There needs to be tension on the band. Then perform a push-up.

That is just three of many workouts you can do with a resistance band, so go ahead and give them a try.  After you get used to them, you will find that you will probably enjoy them.  You can also get door attachments for your bands that will help you get more creative with your workouts.

Time Saving Workouts

By FitnessDude · Comments (0)

I hear this excuse all the time…”I do not have enough time to workout.”  I know there is some cases where that is a valid statement, but very few.  For the most apart (99.9% of the time) there is time to exercise, but people either are too lazy or they really do not have a desire to workout.  It is simple to get some workouts in everyday if you train yourself and get in the habit of doing it.  We are habitual creatures, so it is difficult to break bad habits and start a new ones, but it is possible. Here are some time saving workouts and tips.

dips 300x232 Time Saving WorkoutsFirst, write out a workout plan that you can do everyday at your home.  It can involve push ups, lunges, squats, and crunches.   Make sure that you alternate workouts, for example…You can do chest and arms Monday, and then do legs and abs Tuesday, and keep on rotating. Remember to do some type of workout at least 6 days a week to start off, so you can get in the habit of working out.

The workouts do not have to be long, but they do have to be effective.  When I do push ups, I do as many as possible, and I do it three times.  I then move onto some dumbbell workouts, where I work on my biceps, shoulders, and triceps.  I also like to involve an exercise ball when using dumbbells, but that is mostly more chest work.  For the most part, make sure that your workouts are slow and controlled throughout whole motion.  But you can also pump out some quick reps to involve more muscle tissue, just make sure that you are still controlled and focusing on the desired muscle.

When all is said and done it takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to do an upper body workout.  I do it before I go to bed, but you can also do it when you wake up if you are a morning person.

So here are some time saving workouts:

Without Equipment – Push ups, Lunges, Squats, Wall Squats, Crunches, Burpees, and squat jacks

With Equipment – Pull ups, Chin Ups, Bicep Curls, Chest Press, Triceps Extensions, Swiss ball exercises, and Triceps Dips

Equipment That You Need – Dumbbells, Resistance Bands, Exercise Ball (Swiss Ball) for crunches and tons of other workouts, Chin Up Bar, and a Chair (for Triceps dips).

Do Resistance Bands Work?

By FitnessDude · Comments (0)
Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

The past few years we have seen a rise in resistance bands, we have seen them in gyms and we have seen athletes use them.  What is the big deal about resistance bands?  Do resistance bands work?  How can you benefit from resistance bands?  The first time I picked up a resistance band I was very skeptical, I thought it was going to break and snap me right in the face.  As I started to use the resistance band I actually started to really enjoy how it worked my upper body and how it felt.  The feeling was very smooth; it was not jerky or uncomfortable.

SportLine BA4125AA 1 lg Do Resistance Bands Work? The principle is the same as free weights.  You lift free weights up and then you let the resistance of gravity bring it back down slowly.  With resistance bands you have resistance through the whole motion, when you lift up on the resistance band and when you release down.  So yes, resistance bands do work, and in some exercises they actually work better than free weights.  But when it comes down to it, it just depends what you like using better, free weights or resistance bands.  There are some benefits to using resistance bands, they are cheap and they are easy to travel with.  Also, there are plenty of different weighted resistance bands to choose from, and they are very easy to store in your house or pack in a suitcase when you travel for business, or go on a vacation.  There are many workouts you can do with resistance bands, especially if you have a door attachment.

I encourage you to give resistance bands a try; you might find that you like them more than using free weights.

My opinion…Bodylastics Resistance Bands are the best bands out there.
