Cardio-respiratory endurance is the ability of the body to support the dynamic exercises which we do with large groups of muscles in the body during a period of time at different levels of intensity. Cardiorespiratory endurance can also be known as cardiorespiratory fitness. In some cases people may refer to it as aerobic fitness or even aerobic power.
As these exercises are done, the lungs and heart work together to take in oxygen and supply it to different areas of the body especially the muscles which are used extensively during the exercises.
Exercises such as jogging, taking a walk, cycling, mountain climbing, and running help the body in so many ways especially to promote cardiorespiratory endurance. There are other exercises and routines that can be done to improve the body’s cardiorespiratory endurance. Doing frequent aerobic exercises can also help you to increase the cardiorespiratory endurance of your body.
If you want to become physically fit or even more, you should try to take a look at all the aspects if fitness training. The activities that work on improving the work of the heart also work on improving the general cardiorespiratory endurance of the body.
For those who don’t do their workouts frequently, starting cardiorespiratory endurance training or fitness should be quite slow. When you start these workouts, do them for about ten minutes per day. This will help your heart. As you go on, increase the time you spend on cardiorespiratory endurance workouts. Also, try to increase the intensity as your body gets used to the exercises.
